Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued a notice regarding the closure of the remittance business of Maya Remit Pvt. Ltd., located in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Following an application from the company, NRB’s Foreign Exchange Management Department has given preliminary approval for its closure according to the Remittance Bylaws, 2079.
Any individuals or organizations with pending remittance-related financial claims with this company must submit a written notification to NRB within 35 days of this notice (published on Falgun 12, 2082). If no claims are received within this period, the company’s bank guarantee will be released, and any later claims will only be settled up to the remaining amount of the valid bank guarantee.
