The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted 20 construction companies and suppliers as per a decision made on Falgun 1, 2081. This action was taken under Section 63, Subsection (1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063, following recommendations from various public entities like the Infrastructure Development Office and Road Divisions.
The blacklisted firms are prohibited from participating in any public procurement processes for a period of one year from the date of notice publication. Notable companies on the list include P.N.D. Sherpa Construction, Pabitra Multiple Construction, and Om Ganesh Nirman Sewa, among others across various districts.
